Many of our residents find that their world expands when they join us. They enjoy new hobbies, widen their social circle and rediscover their zest for life.
As well as all the usual activities you’d expect – from film nights, yoga and exercise classes, gardening, music, and arts and crafts – we act on suggestions from our residents, if they want to try something in particular, we’ll do our best to make it happen. We have three activity co-ordinators who plan activities in various areas around the home, so there’s plenty of space for our residents to explore different hobbies.
We also maintain really strong links in and around our local community, including trips out and visits to the home from local groups. Our intergenerational programme means we get regular visits from the nearby nursery, which gives the home a wonderful family feel.
When it comes to food, every meal we serve is locally sourced and freshly prepared in our kitchen. Our residents’ taste and dietary requirements are always catered for, with four-weekly menus offering a huge variety of delicious and nutritious meals.
